Tise is a social marketplace for second hand fashion. Launched in Norway in 2016, in the past four years Tise has become a community of 1.6 million users, with over 110.000 daily active users in Norway alone.
In 2021 we are focusing on taking leading positions in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. To do this we need more backend engineers who thrive when given a lot of autonomy to solve problems in a small team of dedicated engineers.
Some of the things you’ll work on
- Turn feature descriptions and designs into full-fledged APIs for our apps
- Extend and improve our search engine, escrow payment solution, recommendation engine, etc
- Tackle both expected and unexpected scaling needs
- Create internal tools to allow our commerical and marketing teams to work smarter
Technologies
- Languages/frameworks: Node.js (Typescript), some Django
- Datastores: MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis (event queues)
