There is an outbreak of clade I mpox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Countries sharing borders with DRC are considered at risk for spread. Country List : Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo , Rwanda, Uganda

Studies show vaccinated people have substantially less risk for contracting mpox compared with those who are unvaccinated and identified no major safety concerns after nearly 1 million doses administered.
There is an ongoing outbreak of mpox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Travelers to Nigeria should avoid contact with sick people, animals such as rodents (rats, squirrels) and non-human primates (monkeys, chimpanzees), products that come from wild animals (including wild game), and contaminated materials (such as clothing or bedding) used by sick people or animals.
