Overweight and obesity are associated with at least 13 different types of cancer. According to the latest CDC Vital Signs report, cancers associated with overweight and obesity accounted for 40 percent of cancers diagnosed in the U.S. in 2014. Number of States with High Rates of Adult Obesity More Than Doubles

Nineteen states and two territories have at least 35% of residents with adult obesity – more than doubling the number of states with a high obesity prevalence since 2018 – according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
